Robin graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India in 1989. Following practicing there for a few years he decided to move to New Zealand where he passed his registration exams (DCNZ) in 1996. He went into private practice in Auckland where he worked for 2 years before making the big move to Invercargill in 1998. He has enjoyed living and serving the community in Southland for just over 20 years. He bought the current practice on 89 Don Street in 2002 and has since served there to date. Robin is very competent in all aspects of general surgery; he has a special interest in Implant and prosthetic dentistry. The lifestyle Southland offers is what he enjoys the most, he likes new challenges such as mountain walks and takes his dog for a walk everyday. When he is not busy working, he will be overseas travelling sampling different cuisines around the world, in particular South East Asia. He is a dedicated clinician to families and makes his patients very comfortable.

Andrew graduated from the University of Manchester in 2010. His first work experience was in general practice in England under the National Health Service. Following that he worked for a number of years in his home country of Malaysia serving as a dental officer in the local hospital and at public health clinics. Since moving to Invercargill in 2015, he has fallen deeply in love with Southland and is eager to call this his new home. Andrew has particular interest in aesthetic dental restorations and feels great satisfaction when people are motivated and willing to improve themselves for good oral health.  He loves tramping and cooking in his free time and is a self-described master of homemade Penang laksa noodles. 

Peter grew up in Samoa and moved to New Zealand in 2011 after being granted a full scholarship to study Dentistry. He graduated from the University of Otago in 2015 with a Bachelor of Dentistry with credit. Upon graduating, he moved back to Samoa and worked as a dental house surgeon for the National Health Service for 2 years. Working in Samoa provided him with a wide based experience in Oral Surgery, particularly difficult tooth extractions and emergency dental procedures.
He moved back to New Zealand with the hope to expand his experience and exposure to private practice dentistry, and has been working at Robin Chen Dental since February 2018. Peter is passionate overall about general dentistry and has a particular interest in digital and cosmetic dentistry. He enjoys living an active lifestyle by attending gym classes, hiking, playing basketball, touch rugby as well as rowing.
